2022 Meeting Schedule

Public Comment

Citizens can provide public comment regarding County-related matters at any regularly scheduled meeting, however, comment for public hearing items (i.e. zoning, ordinance changes, budget, etc.) will only be received at regularly scheduled meetings in which the public hearing is to held.

All persons desiring to appear before the Marion County Board of Commissioners shall make written application to the County Clerk’s office no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday preceding the meeting, giving her/her name and the subject matter to be discussed. No person will be allowed to address the Board for longer than 5 minutes (exceptions granted by majority of the Board for increase or decrease of time allowed). No individual will be allowed to make disparaging remarks about individual Board members. All subject matters to be addressed must be an area in which the Board has jurisdiction. Otherwise, the Board will not hear said individual.
